Jerry Garcia and Manasha first met in Chicago in 1978. In August of 1990, Jerry and Manasha married at their California home in a private ceremony, free of legal convention.
The couple resided in San Anselmo, California with their daughter, Keelin Garcia.
Jerry and Manasha shared a common interest in art and music.
Manasha began drawing and painting as a child. She later studied art while attending tutorial classes at Oxford University in England, under the auspices of Shimer College.
